We all know that feeling of waking up groggy and tired. Perhaps you’ve had little sleep and now face a full day of work ahead, or perhaps you’re just a little hungover from the night before after downing 12 Jack Daniel shots in succession?

This recipe will give you a super boost for energy in the morning – when you need it most. Here at Zozanga, most of the team lives on this single recipe and we find ourselves juicing it most days of the week to give the team an all-round energy boost.

Best of all, this recipe is absolutely delicious and provides an all-round detox effect to your body. The mixture of ingredients provide an awesome level of vitamins, such as both Vitamin A & Vitamin C, while providing your body with a helpful dose of Fiber and Sulfur. The Kale will provide your body with a much needed dose of Iron, as well as omega-3 fatty acids – meaning you won’t have to continue taking those Omega 3 Fish Oil tablets. While all of this is going on, the Ginger will kick in and help to detoxify and cleanse your digestive system to restore your inner workings back to their natural beauty.

The ingredients are pretty simple. For this recipe, all you’ll need is: 

  • 2 oranges
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 big handfuls of kale
  • 1/2 a lemon
  • a knob of ginger

The only downside to this recipe? We aren’t a big fan of the murky and rather ugly looking colors that are going on – but we can forgive. It isn’t the Vegetables fault that they combine together into a rather upsetting set of colors. Instead, we’re thankful for the morning energy boost we get each morning, and to the consistent detox our bodies and getting. Fantastic!
